So, the last time I wrote on this blog, people did not know there was flowing water on the surface of Mars. This will be the coolest space thing to be discovered until the black hole at the center of the galaxy, Sagittarius A, is photographed this spring, which is also when I will release my next volley of overdue blog posts. You see, I like to sync up my blog posts with major astronomical discoveries. The reason I mention Mars today is because A) it is really nifty, and B) it has a lot to do with the picture. "How could Mars possibly be related to this painting of a Chinese village about to be squished by and asteroid-induced tsunami?" may be the question a commoner would ask. Well, I have several responses to this question:
